What is OdoMatch?
OdoMatch is an 18+ dating service focused on genuine profiles, mutual matching and private conversation. “Odo” means love in Akan/Twi.
Is it only for Africans?
No. OdoMatch is African-born and globally open. Adults from every background are welcome when they follow the Community Guidelines.
How does matching work?
Likes are private. When two eligible members like each other, OdoMatch creates a match and conversation. Blocking, unmatching or account restrictions end access.
What is an OdoClip?
It is one optional 10–30 second profile video uploaded through OdoMatch. Approved clips follow profile visibility, start muted and are not identity verification.
What does verification mean?
Email verification confirms access to an email address. Age, document, liveness, face and identity checks are distinct. OdoMatch displays only the level actually completed.
How do calls and OdoMinutes work?
Eligible matches can use live voice or video when enabled. Only the caller pays OdoMinutes, and only connected time is charged. Missed, declined, cancelled and failed calls cost zero.
Private and View Once photos
These are separate from public profile photos and OdoClips. Availability depends on the relevant safety feature being enabled. View Once does not promise screenshot prevention.
How do I block or report?
Use the conversation or profile safety menu. A block is immediate. Reports enter a restricted moderation workflow and may preserve only evidence required for review.
Can I date internationally?
OdoPassport and international discovery depend on availability and your preferences. Approximate location is used; OdoMatch does not publish exact coordinates.
Subscriptions and deletion
Plan screens show current availability and OdoMinutes. Delete Account is in Settings, pauses discovery immediately and schedules the account workflow.
